How to read this record. Use the record page to determine the provenance of the media on this website. The media comes in three kinds: optimized copies, served for quick web page loading; originals, pulled from storage and compared against their fingerprints; and Verified Reality captures — originals with hardware-attested proof of the time and place of capture.
Any file here can be tested against its original in the auditor. If the hashes match — the same file, the same content — the media has not been altered since it was placed here.
On a Verified Reality capture, the seal is a third hash, written into the file at the moment of capture. A match goes further: the file has not been altered since that instant — at that time, at that place.

We can establish that a digital file is authentic and hardware-attested. We cannot determine whether a physical scene was staged.
What the hash check tells you
Seal hash. On a Verified Reality capture, the fingerprint written into the file's own seal at the moment of capture — before the file ever left the device. An ordinary row carries no seal, so its stack starts one line lower.
Ingestion hash. When this original was added to the record, the console computed that same fingerprint — a number derived from every byte of the file — and kept it here. The name says when: at ingestion.
Recomputed hash. When you clicked to view the original, your browser fetched the file from the cloud and computed the fingerprint again, right now, on the copy that actually reached you.
Match. Where a seal exists, all three must agree; otherwise the two. Agreement means the file on your screen is byte-for-byte the file that was sealed and recorded — untouched in storage, untouched in transit. Change one pixel and the fingerprint changes with it, so a match is a hard check, not a promise.
Why it matters. Anyone can claim a picture. A hash lets the claim be tested: keep the file, keep the fingerprint, and the original can be proven against any copy, anywhere, at any time.
How this record works
A record like this is standard on every website that carries Verified Reality infrastructure. What follows is this site’s.
Logos and marks aren’t listed here. This record covers photographs, video and audio — the files that are meant to show something that happened.
Rows fill in as work is captured. Every file here is hashed when it is sealed, and that hash is stored. A dash means we do not hold a note about it — not that it was not recorded. We don’t fill it with something that sounds like it.
Don’t trust us. Verify it yourself.
Where a row’s file is hosted somewhere else — YouTube, a client’s site — we can show you where it lives, but we can’t attest what’s in it. It can change or disappear without our knowledge.
Only Verified Reality captures are attested. An EXIF row shows a camera wrote the file; it does not attest the capture.
We can establish that a digital file is authentic and hardware-attested. We cannot determine whether a physical scene was staged.
The seal proves this file came from this capture. The scene is for the reader to judge.
The Truth Packet itself isn’t downloadable here. These are the files from it. Test any of them in the auditor.
Any file here can be checked. Download the original, not the copy on the page — these are re-encoded to load fast, and the record holds the original.
